What’s up gaming heroes, today we are talking about simple and easy gold making for you to do during The War Within. These gold farms are for the gaming heroes who don’t want to spend much time gold farming and instead just want to make a little bit of gold on the side to be able to afford their consumables and such.

Easy Gold Making Guide

Drawbacks of “EASY” Gold:

• Less gold per hour as this is designed to be easy and effortless.
• You won’t become a millionaire quickly with this gold making (But you will get enough to PLAY).

1. Gathering Professions

Mining

Flying around The Ringing Deeps (Route linked for members) collecting ore can be a profitable venture. We highly advise to focus your specialization points into: Mining Fundamentals as this will allow you to collect ore while still mounted. As there are always mobs near the ore deposits, this will save you a good deal of time.

Herbalism

Flying around The Ringing Deeps (Route linked for members) collecting Herbs can be highly profitable. We highly advise to focus your specialization points into: Botany as this will allow you to collect Herbs while still mounted. Do note if you’re a druid you will be able to collect herbs while in Flight Form.

Skinning

Skinning is a great passive profession to have as you can collect gold from normal activities throughout world of warcraft, doing daily or weekly quest activities. This is super simple, just sell the skins on the auction house and you’re good to go!

Fishing

We love fishing as a gathering method of gold making because you don’t really need to farm it, but when you do see a fishing pool: Pull that trust fishing pole out and get all those fish into your bags. Sell them on Wednesday / Thursdays for highest profits (PVE Reset Day).

2. Crafting Professions

Enchanting

Enchanting can have some brilliant gold making if used with the right specializations. For example the disenchanting build can be a great way to make extra gold as you’re going throughout the world. Here’s an example build, but change it depending on the content you play most:

• Mythic+ & Raiding = Focus on Epic Disenchanting
• World Content = Common & Rare Disenchanting
• Delves & Rare Elites = Rare Disenchanting

Tailoring

Tailoring has some unique talent point distributions. Here’s an easy passive way to make extra gold in The War Within. Simply assign your talent points into: Textile Treasures to be able to pick up extra cloth from humanoid mobs throughout. This will give you extra cloth to sell on the auction house and make even more passive gold by playing the game.

Alchemy

Alchemy has lots of ways to make gold but they’re more complicated so let’s keep this simple. Alchemy can save you boat loads of gold by specialising into consumable you use at raid you will save yourself a lot of gold by avoiding needing to purchase pots / phials from the auction house. Along side this I (Erosium) love to use alchemy transmutation to do my daily gem crafts. This does take extra work of earning knowledge points. For more on this check out: Alchemy Cooldown Build.

Cooking

Cooking has some awesome features to as you can use up all those random meats you collect while playing The War Within. You can then craft them into meals to sell on the auction house. The markup on meals from gathered materials is quite significant and you can even consider saving them up to use yourself in your PVE fun excursions.

3. EASY Gold Making Farms

Awakening The Machine

170-180 gold per chest and there are 4 chests, as the expansion gets on this weekly quest becomes easier! When you complete it and you also get an amazing chest at the end with some gear in. I call that a winner winner chicken dinner!

World Quests

Typically there are 4+ flying world quests which reward 800+ gold each. Complete all 4 for and easy 3600gold. If you do this on 6 alts you can easily make: 21600gold per week, it scales fantastically!

Patron Orders

The trick to Patron orders is choosing the orders which gives runes that you can sell on the auction house for high profit. I’ve made a good deal of gold by choosing runes patron orders and selling the goodies afterwards, not to mention many of the other patron orders have goodie boxes which give crafting items to sell on the auction house. Good passive, simple and easy gold!

The Ringing Deeps Gathering Farms

I love to fly around The Ringing Deeps collecting Herbs and Ore on my highmountain tauren druid. I make between 40,000 – 80,000 gold per hour doing this typically and you can do this while waiting for dungeons or battleground ques to pop. Follower Dungeon Tailoring Farm

This is a super fun way to make gold in World of Warcraft. Simply get the following knowledge points then que up for Follower Dungeon: Darkflame Crest and kill all mobs in the first room. They drop tailoring cloths which you sell on the auction house. Rinse and repeat over and over until rich.

Weekly Quests Raw Gold

The weekly quests all reward substantial amounts of gold which is good to complete across all your alts, this quickly adds up and can fill your coffers ready to get any and all items you need for your PVE / PVP adventures.

Rare Farming Disenchanter

This is one of the easiest of all the farming strategies. Simply fly around the entire War Within map and slay every rare you come across. Disenchant any gear they drop and sell the goodies on the auction house. Also try to open all chests you come across for highly value trade goods, this gold farm can be between 10,000 and 40,000 gold per hour depending on luck and talent points. This farm also gets you a lot of reputation!

Select this talent point distribution, you will pick up more Rare (Blue) items than any other kind.
