Starting from 0 Gold | Goblin Diary

What’s up Gaming Heroes! I recently spent every single bit of gold I had on upgrading every heirloom I’ve ever collected to maximum level. This cost over 2 million gold and while I was in the spending mood I also bought a couple of rare mounts from the auction house which quickly set my gold down to near 0. So in this guide and future guides I’ll be talking about how I am making my gold back from scratch and bringing you along on the journey.

Old Farms are JUICY

So naturally here is where I could tell you to go farm those super sexy transmogs and whack them on the auction house for a bazzilion gold right?! Nope, honestly when it comes to making gold for me I like it simple and considering I am the sole carer of a new born baby boy I don’t really get dedicated focused time to do complicated farms, so I am keeping it as simple as possible.

I’ve gone for the Shadowlands Mission Table gold as my first step to making solid consistent gold. Why have I done this? Well Shadowlands Missions tables give consistent gold and also give me a good excuse to level up my alt army. I currently have 18 level 60+ alts and 32 level 70+ alts which need to be leveled up. They are all positioned at Ardenweald and I simply log on to each of them, interact with the mission table and get my gold.

How Shadowlands Gold Making Works

Like with anything that’s worth it in the long run, shadowlands mission tables take some time to setup. But good news, once they’re setup its a simple matter of logging in each day and collecting your anima and gold.

  • Raw Gold from Mission Table
  • Augment Runes to sell to vendor
  • Pet Charms to buy pets to sell to Auction House
  • Pet Reselling Using Pet Charms upgrades.
  • Weekly Anima Quest gives 1650 raw gold per character
  • Trade materials to be sold on auction house

Specific details on exact gold making can be found in the Shadowlands Member Guide.

That is a list of all the ways you make gold from the shadowlands mission table. The Shadowlands Mission table guide goes into details on exactly how each of these methods work, we highly recommend follow that guide to help you achieve long term success and SPEEDRUN the mission tables to maximum gold.

Leveling Alts

As all of my alts are level 60+ its a simple matter of logging in and doing Dragonflight Dungeons for quick experience. On average I get 2+ levels per dungeon even at level 60+ and this is due to the current buff for experience. This is absolutely incredible and a super easy way to level up. I find there are subtle benefits to my characters gold income when they reach level 70. For example the types of missions they get on the mission table include more anima and additionally they are strong enough to handle all anima quests solo which is ideal for quick anima.

Once I have gotten all my character to level 70+ I intend to get them all up to 80 too. I plan to experiment with gold making leveling strategies either with weekly delves or with dungeons. I am unsure which is more efficient for me from a gold making perspective but I am sure I will figure it out and share this info in these gold making diaries.

Gold Making Going Forward

Going forward I will continue to make gold with the shadowlands mission tables and I will provide and income difference week on week. But in theory from the shadowlands mission tables alone I anticipate: 250,000+ raw gold per week.

On top of this I am intending to look into my alt crafting setups to create long term gold using spare daily profession crafts which can be sold on Auction House for extra gold. If this works I’ll keep it going and if it doesn’t work I will go back to doing dedicated crafting for Engineering, Jewellery Crafting, Tailoring and Enchanting.

Conclusion
