Kalimdor Rarity String 3

This article includes areas like Ashenvale, Blackfathom Deeps, Azshara, Darkshore and Winterspring. More to come! The article includes rare locations for each zone, as well as the rares spawn time. AND OF COURSE the Rarity string for every rare and zone drops!

The way the item data has been input into the Rarity string, requires a little explanation:

  • If an item has multiple drop sources, it goes by the highest chance avaliable to the player, in the drop chance percentage.
  • Currently recipe and quest item drops have been excluded. If this causes dissatisfaction please let me know on Discord, and I’ll change the string accordingly. (otherwise they’ll have their own article at a later date)

Ashenvale Rarity String

Throughout Ashenvale there is 1 rare, Terrowulf Packlord, which has a unique transmog drop. This rare have a spawn rate of 60-90 min.

He spawns at /way 53.0 37.6

There are 2 drops from both rares and regular mobs in Ashenvale. The following string will import them straight into Rarity for you to get an announcement, when you loot it:

Blackfathom Deeps Rarity String

In Blackfathom Deeps there are no rares, however there are many zone drops. The entrance to this instance is located in Ashenvale in the north-western corner of the map. Head into the ruins that look like the pictures below. Swim through some water and follow the cave to the entrance.

There is 11 zone drops from Blackfathom Deeps. The following string will import them into Rarity for you to get an awesome announcement, when you loot it:

Azshara Rarity String

Throughout Azshara there is 1 rare, General Fangferror, which has a unique transmog drop. This rare have a spawn rate of 30-60 min.

His slithering route follow the path starting at /way 59.6 77.2 and ends at /way 63.6 83.2

There is only 1 single drop from all of Azshara. The following string will import it into Rarity for you to get an announcement, when you loot it:

Throughout Darkshore there is 1 rare, Lady Vespira, which has a unique transmog drop. This rare have a spawn rate of 1 hour. Lady Vespira can spawn at three points:
/way 48.6 39.0
/way 48.6 41.6
/way 46.6 41.4

There is also no zone drops in this zone, so the string below will import Lady Vespira single drop and nothing else. Import the string into Rarity so you get an awesome announcement, when you loot it:

Winterspring Rarity String

Last but not least we have Winterspring, where there again is only one single rare with a unique transmog drop. This rare is called Quetzl, has a respawn time of 2.5-4 hours and spawns at
/way 66.9 83.7

The item, Owlbeast Leggings also drop from other mobs, and according to Wowhead only drops from these mobs, not the rare. However the rare is listed in All The Things, so be aware of that.

There are no zone drops besides the leggins, so the rarity string below will only be the Owlbeast leggings. Import the string into Rarity so you can see your tries and get an announcement, when it drops:
