At the time of writing this guide my base movement speed (Unbuffed) is 217% which means I run faster than regular mounts, even while stealthed if I choose. This is honestly fast but I could increase this even further!
Lazy Speed Set Gear
Every new zone Blizzard add into world of warcraft, they usually add in new gear which is green and give you basic stats. However what a lot of people don’t realise is that this gear has a chance to proc a random extra stat such as SPEED, AVOIDANCE, SOCKET etc.
The lazy and quick way of building a speedset is to buy gear from this new zone which has the secondary stat “Speed” on the gear, this will give your character: passive speed.
As of the latest patch in Dragonflight you can purchase the following sets from the auction house with passive speed stats on.
To build a lazy speed set in World of Warcraft, buy the latest green or blue gear with the extra speed stat “Speed”. This will stack up and give your character extra speed.
WoW Speed Enchants
Use these enchants to increase your speed even further in World of Warcraft.
- Enchant Bracer – Devotion of Speed
- Enchant Cloak – Writ of Speed
- Enchant Boots – Minor Speed (Cannot be on an item over iLvl 50)
- Enchant Chest – Accelerated Agility
- Enchant Boots – Plainsrunner’s Breeze (Alternative Boot Enchant)
- Enchant Weapon – Wafting Devotion
Using an addon “DejaCharacterStats” this allows you to see an extra stat in your character panel called: “Movement Speed”. You can see how fast your character is and how much speed each piece gives you.
