Springfur Alpaca Mount Guide

Welcome to our guide on how to obtain the Springfur Alpaca mount! Please note you will not be able to get this mount in one sitting. There are two parts to getting this mount:

Part 1: Gersahl Greens

To get this mount, you’ll need to collect 7 gersahl greens. Gersahl Greens are herbs that can be gathered by everyone, including non herbalist characters.

Note: the plant you click is named “Gersahl Shrub“. The plant you will get from these is the Gersahl Green.

You can find these in Uldum. You have to be in the Battle For Azeroth version of Uldum (talk to Zidormi to change phase).

If you are doing this on a character with herbalism you will be able to see them on your mini-map. Otherwise you can use these two TomTom script (install the TomTom addon to make it work): paste both in your chat and most of the gersahl greens spawn locations will be added to your map.

Go through all of those and you should be able to get a few. You do not need to get all 7 herbs in one go, read the next part for more info on how to use these herbs.

Part 2: Feeding the Alpaca

At any of these locations in Uldum (use either HandyNotes or Silverdragon to see those on your map) an alpaca might spawn at any time.

The alpaca will give you a daily quest that requires you to give it a gersahl green. The alpaca will only stay up for a few minutes so you need to have a herb ready before trying to find the alpaca. You need to complete this quest 7 times, then the alpaca will give you a quest with the mount as a reward.

Strategies to find the alpaca

Since there are not as many people hunting this mount, finding the alpaca can be hard. Here are some tips:

1. You can start a custom group or ask friends to help you. Have everyone camp one of the spawn locations and just wait for someone to see it spawn. If you have SilverDragon it should alert you when the alpaca spawns. You can even go to SilverDragon settings then general then sounds, then turn on sounds in background to have the sound play even if you’re looking at another tab!
2. You can leave your character in Uldum and fly to all the spawn locations once a day, this is unfortunately luck dependant but can be done solo.

You have to find the alpaca seven times (it does not have to be seven times in a row), complete the daily quest and you’ll be rewarded with the springfur alpaca mount!
