Elemental Souls Goldmaking

Hey Gaming Heroes! In this guide we’ll go over a really effective gold making strategy that involves farming elemental souls. If you’re not familiar with this yet then you’re gonna be surprised with how good this strat can be for goldmaking!

Requirements & Set-up

You’ll ideally need 4 level 60+ alts for this strat. The more the better but this will be a good starting point. Now you need to go to the AH and buy:

• 4x Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler (1 for each alt)
• 30x Empty Soul Cages. You’ll need one for every soul you catch, so consider buying even more if you’re going to do this strategy for a long time. 30 is a good start though.

Now that you’ve got those, let’s get into the real farming! You’ll need to park your alts at these four locations in the Dragon Isles:

/way 52.8 30.6 Earthshatter Elemental (Dust Spirit Pet)
/way 24.6 36.0 Stormbound Colossus (Gale Spirit Pet)
/way 55.6 77.2 Force of the Springs (Tide Spirit Pet)
/way 78.6 38.8 Fire Elemental (Blaze Spirit Pet)

Every 15 minutes, log on to each of your alts and find one of the elementals nearby. These are elite mobs that only spawn at the locations you can see above.

Start fighting the elemental (be careful, some of them are quite strong), and once they have stunned you (they all have a stun ability) you can use the Zapthrottle Soul Inhaler. This will put a debuff on the elemental, you must kill it within 30 seconds of applying the debuff to get an Encaged Soul.

Everytime you open a Docile Frosty Soul, Docile Earthen Soul, Docile Fiery Soul or a Docile Airy Soul, you have a chance of getting the corresponding pet: Tide Spirit, Dust Spirit, Blaze Spirit or Gale Spirit. As you can see with the Live Pricing Data, these pets can be worth a LOT of gold! You will also get some crafting materials that can be used for crafting, we’ll cover that in-depth soon!

Tips and Tricks

Here’s a few tips and tricks that will help you make even more gold from this strat:

• Make sure to do this on 4 chars or more and log on as much as possible. This is simple but very effective. Reminder: you will not be able to get more than 1 soul every 15 minutes for each alt, but if you swap characters you can bypass this!
• If you get one of the pets, make sure to use undermine exchange to find the best realms to sell it on.
