Welcome to the RTN Challenge. This is a challenge where all members of Gaming Hero may get involved in recording an 1 hour of any RTN Route they choose. They will record themselves completing the route, and they will show their gold count via LootAppraiser Reloaded (see how to install here). If they have the highest gold count for that route they will then be considered the “record” holder of that RTN Route.
Due to the various price differences of EU vs NA we will have both an NA champion and an EU Champion. The goal of these runs is to find as many valuable items as possible per route!
What is RTN?
RTN stands for Rare Treasure Node. This is a form of farming Erosium coined up as it involves farming Rare monsters (who drop rare goodies), opening Rare Treasure Chests and lastly Mining or Herbing nodes along the route.
For RTN you simply import one of the desired routes (using the Routes and Routes Import/Export addon) and then get to farming the routes for treasures, elites or nodes.
Recording the challenge and submitting it will show your skill as a gold maker in Gaming Hero Community.
RTN Challenge Rules
- Choose an RTN route and record you the footage of you completing the route
- Footage should be no longer than 1 hour.
- Use Loot Appraiser Reloaded with prices setting: TSM Region Market Value Avg.
- Upload video to YouTube (Set as Public or Unlisted).
- Publish video link into Gaming Hero Discord: Member-Challenge (say how much you earnt).
- You can use Mining or Herbalism as professions (both if you choose).
- The point of this challenge is to get gold from Rares, Treasures & Nodes: Try to focus on that.
- Use any character of any level or class but we suggest a high level Outlaw Rogue so you can use the passive talent “Track Treasure” which tracks all treasure chests on your mini-map.
- Get the highest gold amount for every route you can do.

Tips for RTN Competitors
- Use an Outlaw Rogue to Track Treasures (Faster).
- Mining has fewer spawns and is worth more (better than Herbalism unless going for XP).
- Use Dragon Riding to be as fast as possible.
