Point Blank Sniper Addon – Beginner Guide

Hey Gaming Heroes! Here is a guide on how to use Point Blank Sniper addon, which is a great tool for auction house flipping and making in-game gold!

Addon Prerequisites

In order for Point Blank Sniper addon to work, you will also need to install TradeSkillMaster (see installation guide here) and the Auctionator addon. You can find TSM on their website and the Auctionator on Curseforge, or simply click the hyperlink above.

Create a Shopping List

A shopping list is basically a group of items that you choose. The Point Blank Sniper addon will help flip the items on that list.

First, go to an auction house and find the “Shopping” tab at the bottom, and click it. Then click on “New List” on the left, and name it whatever you want, and now you can start adding items to it!

Start by searching an item, that you want to add to your flipping list, by using the search bar at the top of the window. I’ve selected the Varruth’s Guillotine as an example. Once you are satisfied with your search that only shows the item(s) that you want, click on “Add to List” at the top right side of the window.

You can check what items are included by simply clicking the items name on the left pane. If you see more than one, then all those items will appear in your search. Anyways, you have now made your very own shopping list!

Making Use of Your Shopping List

Go to the Sniping tab at the bottom most right.

There’s a lot of info in this window, so let’s break it down:

1. Here you can find some useful filters, such as the price source and the percentage. In our example, we’ve selected DBMarket as the price source and 15 as the percentage. This means that Point Blank Sniper addon will try to find items from our list that are posted for 15% less than the DBMarket price or less.
   If Point Blank Sniper finds any items with these settings, then we just found a really good deal!
2. At the top right you can find the “Shopping List” button. This is where you’ll select the list that you’ve just made, so that Point Blank Sniper knows to scan for the items in our list.
   You can also find the scan mode, you can just leave this on default or experiment like they suggest!
3. This is where you’ll see all the items that Point Blank Sniper found, which fits your requirements! It will make a little noise when it finds an item.

When you select an item off the list in the right pane, the addon will stop scanning. You can start the scan again by clicking “Start” at the top. If you wish to buy the item click the item you want to buy, then click “Name Search” or “Blizzard Buy UI”, whichever works best for you.

Final Thoughts – Point Blank Sniper Addon

Now that you’re ready to do flipping, all you need to do is add some more items to your shopping list (I would recommend high value transmog, pets and mounts), and then just scan the auction house everyday for good deals.
