The way to acquire these mounts will change wether you play Horde or Alliance:
Pandaren Racial Mounts – Alliance Side
In order to obtain these mounts, you will need either a pandaren character or a character that is exalted with the Tushui pandaren faction.
You can use the class trial option in the character creation screen to make a pandaren character. By using this method you will not need to go through the Exile’s Reach starting zone.
Send some gold to your character (you won’t need more than 100 gold) and buy the mounts from Old Whitenose in Stormwind.
Congratulations, you now have the pandaren racial mounts! If you did not create a pandaren, you’ll need to farm the Tushui pandaren reputation to get these mounts. We have a guide below, but first, here’s how you can obtain these mounts on the Horde side:
Pandaren Racial Mounts – Horde Side
In order to obtain these mounts, you will need either a pandaren character or a character that is exalted with the Huojin pandaren faction.
You can use the class trial option in the character creation screen to make a pandaren character. By using this method you will not need to go through the Exile’s Reach starting zone.
Send some gold to your character (you won’t need more than 100 gold) and buy the mounts from Turtlemaster Odai in Orgrimmar.
If you did not create a pandaren character, then you’ll need to reach exalted status with the Tushui Pandaren for Alliance or the Huojin Pandaren for Horde.
How To Get Exalted With Pandaren Factions
Note: follow these steps if you do not want to create a pandaren character.
Pandaren characters do NOT need to be exalted with the Pandaren sub-factions to purchase the mounts.
Getting Exalted With The Pandaren
One of the best ways to gain reputation with the Pandaren factions is to follow the following steps:
Horde: buy the Huojin Tabard from Disciple Jusi in Orgrimmar.
Alliance: buy the Tushui Tabard from Adherent Hanjun in Stormwind.
Once you equip the tabard, you will get Tushui or Huojin reputation from some of the Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King dungeons.
The dungeon we’re aiming for is the Botanica. Use the portal to Shattrath from Stormwind and fly to Netherstorm. You can now run this dungeon on heroic mode once per day and on normal mode 10 times per hour to get tons of reputation with the pandaren factions.
Make sure to use reputation buffs such as the Darkmoon Fair buff buff whenever you get the chance to do so to speed up the process.
Once you reach exalted, go back to either Stormwind or Orgrimmar and buy the pandaren racial mounts from either Turtlemaster Odai or Old Whitenose.
