Jormungar Scale Farm: Tips and Tricks!
Jormungar Scales can be skinned from just about any of the wormlike creatures in Northrend, but read further to see how you can get as many as possible! Check out the list below to see what I think you should do for a better GPH!
- Kill the worms the cave between Brunnhildar Village and Dun Niffelem.
- Bring Bear Tartare with you to help speed your movement up a bit as you kill the worms.
- Keep your Darkmoon Firewater on to help skin a little bit faster.
- If you are level 70, make sure you’re wearing the best Skinning Equipment you can! While you might not get all the stat bonuses, it does increase your skill. I can’t 100% confirm, but it seems to increase the Arctic Leather drop-rate, and reduces the max skill required to loot the Jormungar Scales from skinning!
Jormungar Scale Route
This is a very simple route. Simply enter the cave, follow it in a circle and Kill-Loot-Skin all Bears and Worms in the cave! You’ll be able to do this very quick, and may have to wait about 15 seconds for respawns.
Gold Per Hour? 5k – 24k GPH!
It’s hard for me to give a Gold Per Hour because the market prices are constantly changing. At the time of this article, Jormungar Scales were selling for around 100 gold a piece on NA and 40-45 gold on EU realms. You can collect about 70 scales an hour depending on luck! With max Northrend Skinning, I was seeing a scale with 1/4 kills! Click here for an online Auction House.
