Welcome to our guide on how to unlock the dwarf racial mounts in World of Warcraft!

In order to obtain these mounts, you will need either a dwarf character or a character that is exalted with the Ironforge faction.

You can use the class trial option in the character creation screen to make a dwarf character. By using this method you will not have to go through the Exile’s Reach starting zone. If you use a mage you’ll be able to teleport to Ironforge which will make this faster.

Send some gold to your dwarf character (you won’t need more than 100 gold), then purchase the mounts from Veron Amberstill in Dun Morogh.

How to get exalted with Ironforge

Note: follow these steps if you do not want to create a dwarf character.

Dwarf characters do NOT need to be exalted with Ironforge to purchase the mounts.

Getting exalted with Ironforge

You can purchase these mounts on any character that reaches the exalted status with Ironforge. One of the best ways to gain reputation with Ironforge is to follow the following steps:

First, buy the Ironforge tabard from Captain Stonehelm in Ironforge.

Once you equip the tabard, you will get Ironforge reputation from some of the Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King dungeons.

The dungeon we’re aiming for is the Botanica. Use the portal to Shattrath from Stormwind and fly to Netherstorm. You can now run this dungeon on heroic mode once per day and on normal mode 10 times per hour to get tons of reputation with Ironforge!

Make sure to use reputation buffs such as the Darkmoon Fair buff buff whenever you get the chance to do so to speed up the process.

Once you reach exalted, go to Dun Morogh and buy the dwarf racial mounts from Veron Amberstill!
