Children’s Week Gold Making Guide

The Children’s Week event starts on the 28th of April 2025, and ends a week later on the 5th of May. During the event there are many quests rewarding battle pets, that can be sold on the Auction House. On a single character you can get 4 battle pets, 3 faction specific and 1 neutral.

You might see that some pets appear soulbound or warbound, when you initially acquire them. You can make these auctionable by learning the battle pet, then finding it in your pet collection. When you’ve found the pet, select the “Put In Cage” option. It can now be sold on the Auction House!

TWW Children’s Week Changes

With the 2025 edition of Children’s Week, a currency has been added from completing quests, Well-loved Figurine. You can choose the new currency, which is one per quest, or any of the pets from complting any Children’s Week quests! With the new currency you can buy any of the pets from the quests rewards for 1 Well-loved Figurine.

In addition to the new currency, two new vendors have been added; Brundia Braidhammer in Stormwind and Leial Knitterton in Orgrimmar.

Brundia Braidhammer: /way 56.63 54.26

Leial Knitterton: /way 58.05 56.91

TWW Children’s Week Quests

The War Within questline, added in 2025, starts in Dornogal at /way 55.3 27.0
Here you’ll find Ullna, speak to her and pick up her quest Children’s Week in Dornogal. Complete the questline up to A Brighter Tomorrow, and choose between Argos or Goggles, as these two pets and the only ones available to sell on AH (if you’re looking to make gold).

Alliance Children’s Week Quests

There are 3 questlines, each rewarding 1 battle pet. You can choose between 4 different battle pets from each specific quest. So one quest awards Bob, Blake, Billy and Ben, where you can only choose one, and another quest awards Jake, James, Jade and Jill, again you can only choose one.

Dornaa, the Draenei Orphan

Dornna is a Draenei orphan you can adopt from Shattrath City. In the city go to /way 75.0 47.4 , and find Orphan Matron Mercy. Pick up her quest Children’s Week (you have to be level 10+), and complete the entire questline. When completing the final quest Back to the Orphanage, you’ll be able to pick a pet (they can all be sold on AH).

Liam, the Kul Tiran Orphan

This orphan can be found in Boralus. Head to the city at /way 48.0 40.2
Here sits Orphan Matron Westerson, whom you can speak to if you’re level 10 or above. When spoken to, she will offer you a quest: Children’s Week. Accept it and complete the entire questline up to Return to the Orphanage. Here you can choose an pet (all pets can be sold on AH).

Randis, the Human Orphan

You can adopt this Human orphan in Stormwind City. Head to /way 56.6 54.6 , where you’ll find Orphan Matron Nightingale. Speak to her and pick up the quest Children’s Week. You have to be level 10 or above to do this questline. Complete the questline up to A Warden of the Alliance, and choose a pet (you can sell all the pets on AH).

Horde Children’s Week Quests

There are 3 questlines, each rewarding 1 battle pet. You can choose between 4 different battle pets from each specific quest. So one quest awards Mike, Max, Molly and Masie, where you can only choose one, and another quest awards Roxanne, Rick, Ron and Ray, again you can only choose one.

Azala, the Zandalari Troll Orphan

Azala can be adopted in Dazar’alor in Zandalar at /way 54.6 84.6
Speak to Caretaker Padae and pick up his quest Children’s Week. It will only be avaliable to characters level 10+. Complete the questline up to quest Return to the Hall of Castes. Here you shall choose a pet (every pet in the selection can be sold on AH).

Grunth, the Orcish Orphan

This little orphan can be found in Orgrimmar. You need to be level 10 or above, then head to Orgrimmar at /way 58.0 57.6
Here you’ll find Orphan Matron Battlewail. Speak to her and accept her quest Children’s Week. Simply complete the entire questline up to A Warden of the Horde and choose one of the pets (they can all be sold on AH).

Salandria, the Blood Elf Orphan

Salandria is a Blood Elf orphan and can be found in Shattrath City. You need to be level 10 or above, then head to Shattarth City at /way 75.2 48.6
Speak to Orphan Matron Mercy, and accept her Children’s Week quest. Complete the entire questline up to Back to the Orphanage and choose one of the pets (all can be sold on AH).
