Kobold & Kobyss Delves Guide – The War Within

This article goes over the kobold and kobyss delve discovery achievements, as well as their map location and entrances. Click here to read about how Delves work.

Kobyss Delve Achievement – Just Keep Swimming

This achievement can only be done in a Kobyss delve, which are one of the following:

• Tak-Rethan Abyss
• The Sinkhole

You need to do a level 8 or above kobyss delve. In these delves you’ll be underwater, and therefore have a “breath” metre. Throughout the delve there will be air bubbles. Simply run through them and you’ll refresh your breath and gain a little movement speed boost. In some delves you’ll also gain the ability to spawn an air bubble every 30 sec. You can also bring an underwater breathing buff in the form of a potion or a Warlock. Simply keep your breath metre full and you’ll complete the achievement.

Kobold Delve Achievement – I TAKE Candle!

This achievement can only be done in a Kobold delve, which are one of the following:

• Kriegval’s Rest
• The Waterworks

You need to do a level 8 or above kobold delve. In these delves there will either be a candle or an air totem, which you need to keep topped off. Every so often throughout the delve there will be a refill on the candle or air totem. They lose capacity by walking around the delve. Simply take the shortest route through the delve, and keep them topped up, then you’ll complete the achievement.

Kriegval’s Rest Delve

Entrance

The entrance to Kriegval’s Rest is located slightly to the right of the centre of Isle of Dorn. /way 62.04 42.72

Find the small entranceway slightly to the right of the centre of Isle of Dorn. Simply walk through the entranceway and you’ll be able to access the delve.

Treasures

The first treasure is located within the first large room of the delve. When you’ve entered said room take a sharp left turn. In the centre of the wall to the left you’ll find the treasure. Open it. /way 46.47 20.00

The third treasure is located in the third large room of the delve. Right past the resurrection stone, the treasure lies with a few piles of stuff. Simply go there and open the treasure. /way 74.40 69.53

The fourth treasure is located within the corridor between the third and fourth large rooms. In the first right turn in the corridor on the left wall by the pillar, you’ll see the treasure. Open it. /way 69.50 85.31

Tak-Rethan Abyss Delve

Entrance

The entrance to Tak-Rethan Abyss is located at the very top of the City of Threads outside its borders in Azj-Kahet. /way 54.88 72.70.
In City of Threads. /way 67.67 23.98

The Delve is located at the bottom of the waterfall inside a cave. Follow the waterfall down and head inside said cave, and you will see the entrance right at the start of the cave. Enter the delve here. 

Treasures

The first treasure is located within the first room of the delve. Before you go into the water, head up behind the water pool on the right side. Behind a small rock formation, you’ll find the treasure. /way 59.86 25.02

The second treasure is on top of a coral. Head left behind a pillar and jump onto the coral. You might engage in combat with the mobs below. If you cannot reach it in one jump, find a bubble to receive a movement speed boost and try again. /way 64.81 48.80

The third treasure is located behind the camp site around half way through the delve. Head behind the coral and rock formation behind the camp and open the treasure. /way 44.95 49.86

The fourth treasure is straight behind the resurrection stone. Simply head up behind the stone on top of the rock formation and open the treasure. /way 35.31 58.39

The Sinkhole Delve

Entrance

The entrance to The Sinkhole is located at the very middle of Hallowfall. /way 50.66 53.42

Locate the massive hole in the very middle of Hallowfall and head down it. When you’ve reached the water at the bottom, locate a cave on one side of the hole. Within this cave the entrance to the delve is found, and you can enter it here.

Treasures

The first treasure is within the pool of water which you jump into right at the start of the delve. Simply swim to the bottom of this pool and open the treasure. /way 52.33 14.21

The second treasure is located behind a larger coral formation. Run behind the corals and behind a small rock you’ll find the treasure. /way 43.15 60.82

The third treasure is on the edge behind a massive rock by the resurrection stone. Head behind the very large rock, either side will get you there, but be careful to not run off the edge. You’ll find the treasure here and you can now open it. /way 72.62 60.93

The fourth treasure is located in the boss area, and should be very easy to see. It is not hidden behind anything, and is straight behind the boss when you enter the area for the first time. Simply run to the treasure and open it. /way 48.64 69.47

The Waterworks Delve

Entrance

The entrance to The Waterworks is located at the very left side in the middle of The Ringing Deeps. /way 46.34 48.49

On the right side of the dam, called the waterworks, in The Ringing Deeps, locate a small entranceway. Head in through the entranceway and you’ll find the entrance to the delve.

Treasures

The first treasure is located in the first big room. Head to the very left side of the room. Next to a furnace on the right, you’ll find the treasure. Simply run here and open the treasure. /way 49.96 24.25

The second treasure is found in the second big room. It is located behind the waterfall on the right side of the room. It is very hard to see it, so use your cursor to locate it. Run into the water and whip your mouse around until you see a “Sturdy Chest” nameplate appear. When found, open the treasure. /way 44.45 38.48

The third treasure is located in between the second and third big rooms. In the tunnel between said rooms there is two smaller rooms. The first small room is where you’ll find the treasure on the right side of the said room, in a small open tent. /way 47.85 53.36

The fourth treasure is found in the last big room, which is also the boss room. Head to the left when entering the room. Behind the pillar and the rocks you’ll find the treasure tucked into a corner. You can go here before engaging with the boss and open the treasure. /way 49.64 79.37
